Bubba’s 33 will open on Monday, April 18. The national chain restaurant is located near the East Side Walmart and will serve burgers, pizza, sandwiches and other casual foods and offers a full bar.

Cosmos Bistro will have a final pop-up dinner before on Thursday, April 21. The menu will feature dishes by chef and owner Scott Anderson and by Chef Melanie Albert of Smalbert’s Comfort Food Catering, who will be a regular guest chef at Cosmos.
Take your food to go or pop in next door at Myriad Brewing Company to enjoy your food with one of their myriad tasty beers. The restaurant should open for evening dining sometime in late April or early May.

The Downtown Evansville Spring Wine Walk will happen on Friday, April 22 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Have a glass of wine and shop local.
The Goodwill Earth Day Farmers Market will happen on Saturday, April 23 at 5001 Washington Ave. in the parking lot at Washington Square Mall from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Come for food trucks, over 45 local vendors, and to check out the location and format of Evansville’s new Saturday Farmers Market, which will begin regular dates in May. Bring donations for Goodwill and support reusing items to help the planet.
The Henderson Breakfast Lions Tri-Fest will take place from April 22-24 at Central Park in Henderson, Kentucky. Enjoy many food booths, a carnival, live entertainment, vendors and more.

Mayse Farm Market will open for the season on Thursday, April 21, with hot house tomatoes, sweets from the bakery, many locally produced foods, flower baskets and much more. As the season progresses watch for strawberries, sweet corn and all types of produce.

River City Coffee Coffee + Goods is offering coffee lessons on Sunday, April 24, beginning at 4 p.m. This lesson concentrates on the pour over technique so you can make the best quality brew at home. Coffee and pastries will be available for tasting and pour over gear for sale. The event is first come, first serve and is family friendly.

Sauci Fatz is a new mobile food vendor in Evansville, offering barbecue, sausages, kabobs, sides including spaghettin and corn on the cob, and much more. Watch the Facebook page or call 618-641-8570 for times and locations.
Waylon’s Diner on Main is now open in the former Dontae’s on Main Pizza Parlor. The North Main breakfast and lunch eatery serves egg and meat platters with choices of bacon, ham, sausage patties, pork chops fried or grilled or fried bologna; omelets; pancakes; waffles; burgers; hot and cold sandwiches and more.

A Yard Pesto Foraging Class will be taught by Jubilee Fly on Saturday, April 23, beginning at 2:22 p.m. at the Miller Barn in Daylight, Ind. Get hands-on experience in identifying common edible plants you may have in your own yard and techniques for turning them into a delicious pesto. No sign up necessary. Fee is donation based.
