Roger Penske additional a different important celebration to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 2023 with the return of the IMSA sporting activities auto championship.
The “IMSA Battle on the Bricks” will provide the NASCAR-owned sequence to Indy’s 14-flip, 2.439-mile road training course for a 160-minute race. The occasion scheduled for Sept. 17 returns IMSA to Indy for the first time because 2014.

IMSA returns as the sequence transitions into a new period of autos in its top prototype classification. The weekend will include things like the IMSA Michelin Pilot Problem on Sept. 16, followed by a 4-hour, bumper-to-bumper website traffic jam of generation-centered race cars.
