Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer has scheduled an all-senators labeled briefing on world innovation and a proposed bill to enhance U.S. semiconductor production, according to his office.
Senate Republican Chief Mitch McConnell has now threatened to block the invoice that would provide $52 billion to subsidize U.S. semiconductor manufacturing and improve U.S. competitiveness with China if Democrats shift forward with a social paying out and weather bill.
The briefing is planned for Wednesday.
