“Stitches” singer Shawn Mendes has postponed his concert at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville scheduled for July 29 to take some time to focus on his mental health.

Mendes posted on Instagram Friday, “I’ve been touring since I was 15 and to be honest, it’s always been difficult to be on the road away from friends and family.”

The singer also included that he hit “a breaking point” and will have to postpone the next three weeks including Uncasville. This comes after he spent a few years off the road and felt as if he was ready to “dive back in,” but admitted that his decision was premature.

Mendes then later went on Twitter and reassured fans he is okay and just wanted to communicate with fans “in a real honest way.”

The “Wonder Tour” started off in Portland, OR, on June 27 until October 26 in Newark, NJ. He is also set to tour in Europe in 2023.

The Mohegan Sun show has been postponed until further notice.
