What Fruits And Veggies Should You Pair With Mexican Shred Blend?

Fruits and veggies with a cheese pairing, is a delicious and sometimes surprising combination. Nothing accompanies cheese like fresh fruits and vegetables do. They go extremely well together and can be combined in an endless number of variations.

We all know snacking on fruits, vegetables and cheese is as delicious, as it is healthy. Combining fruits and vegetables with cheeses when we make a cheeseboard is pretty standard, but what I am going to do is a bit different. We are combining fruits and vegetables with shredded cheese.

When you have little kids, they only like specific things, and some will only eat shredded cheese, especially Mexican Shred Blend. So, if you can add fruits and vegetables in, why not.

Here are some suggestions to pairing fruits and vegetables with Mexican shred blend:

Broccoli

Broccoli and cheese are a great and universal pair of two unique flavours! Cheese takes broccoli to the next level; and then everyone likes it!

When paired with a high-quality shredded cheese, you won’t have a problem getting your kids to eat their veggies.

Potatoes

There are very few people in this world who don’t like the combination of potatoes and cheese. French fries with cheese, grilled potatoes with cheese, baked potato and cheese, all of these dishes sound incredible and taste even better.

The easiest thing you can do with potatoes and cheese, is to make some mashed potatoes and add Mexican shredded cheese, it’s the easiest and most delicious meal, especially for kids.

Apple

Apples and Cheese have always gone surprisingly well together. The sweetness of an apple and the cheese’s saltiness provides a great contrasting flavour combination. Apple tastes best with a sharp cheddar, and Mexican shredded cheese has a lovely cheddar in it, so these two combine together really well.

When you are using apples with shredded cheese, the easiest thing you can do is make an apple and cheese salad. Trust me, it’s delicious.

Berries

There are many great pairings in the world of food, but berries have now proven to be a worthy partner for cheese. You can mix multiple types of berries together, or just use one kind, that is your call.

If fresh berries are not available, jam also works well with cheese. Put some jam on toast, top with shredded cheese, and you have the weirdest yet best breakfast.

I will never stop bragging about the delicious Mexican Shred Blend from Pure Dairy because they deserve it. It is so tasty and high-quality. Also, I can store it for a long time, and it is super versatile; from mac & cheese to salad, I can use this shredded cheese blend on almost anything.
